Moving Forward

Have you ever felt the need to make an adjustment in your life but there is something holding you back? If so, you’re not alone.

Lately I haven’t felt the ambition to do some of the daily tasks that I know I need to do to move forward. I felt I wasn’t seeing the results I wanted to see as quickly as I wanted to see them.

I had to do some soul searching to understand what caused me to slow down. What I realized was that I was expecting to see the rewards on my own terms and not when they are ready to show up.

So much of what we want is tied to our efforts and if we don’t see the results immediately we feel we’re not making an impact.

However, any time we take action there is always an impact. Sometimes our human desire for quick results impacts our ability to understand that just because we can’t see the results; it doesn’t mean the universe in not feeling the effect. And it will respond in kind.

We must have faith in our ability to realize whatever dreams we want. Our faith is what we have to rely upon to keep the forward momentum. Faith is the assurance and conviction that we’re here to achieve our innermost desires and the belief that we can realize those desires by staying focused on what we intend to achieve.

In fact, our desire is the first sign that we have an ambition to achieve something. In order to achieve our aspirations we must have faith and then that faith needs to lead to inspired action.

Inspired action moves you in the direction of what you want in an easy and effortless manner. Focus on what you want until you feel positive energy. Then take action. You never want to take action when you’re stressed, angry or unsure. Positive energy will help you make the right decisions for the situation.

We all have moments when we’re unsure and not as focused on what we want to achieve. It’s just a part of life.

However, we can’t allow those moments to stop us from achieving our goals. We must move forward.

So I’ve made a decision. I’ve decided to get off my butt and take consistent action to move forward.

And as I become more inspired my actions are becoming increasingly easy and effortless. I’m moving in the right direction.

In what area of your life do you need to take inspired action? When will you begin?
